My uncle and I were discussing the oil volcano. The conversation quickly led to him accusing the media of being soft the President, proclaiming they would of crucified Bush. Regardless of truteniess of that assertion we were missing the point. We werent talking about the waivers BP received in spite of not meeting safety regulations or how BP is trying to block media coverage, how many millions they have gave news outlets in advertising. We were instead engaged in a flaming war, red against blue battling each other while our country is pillaged and looted. This is how the corporate media wants to frame everything, red dogs, blue dogs, three dogs, we all dogs! No substantive coverage, jus FLUFF.
