Emerging markets, thats classic corporate talk. Profiting off death is the American Corporate model it's SOP Standard Operating Procedure. Profit off death and re-brand it as American Pie to be sold top the America people. This whole story is a snap shot of America in 2010. This example can help explain how we got in this mess.When profit is king, everything else is at its peril.

Why would a person buy a gun? That's a decision made out of fear. Fear of being robbed. But if we are discussing gun rights we are missing the point of the article. There is no ethic in American business. The only ethic is money. Investors could throwing money at new energy start ups but that would be taking more risk. Why take that risk when you know you can double your money selling guns to terrified people. I hope its not a harbinger of things to come, probably is though. American culture values money above anything else, Americans believe money will solve all problems. Americans need to value actual virtues not just the all might dollar!$!

Theres this thing called an echo chamber, a mass media messages producing machine. For every hour of liberal talk radio their is 10 of corporate or conservative news and talk. It looks like they got you fearing your fellow citizen, but ask why? Cause they believe in a different deity? And why would that scare you. Why would you infringe on their right to build their place of worship. And judging by the fear and intolerance a Muslim out reach center is seriously needed and would be a truly American gesture to a community that suffered so much after our war on "terror" began.

The Guns of August: Lowering the Flag on the American Century

I don't know if America was the greatest country at any period in time. America has never lived up to the hype of the American dream. Some clueless Americans will claim they are the greatest American in the greatest country on Earth while watching the the poor fight for scraps in the streets and banksters sell bad loans they know will default and and bet on them losing, seemingly winning. While the greatness of America is torn down they still claim and maybe because of their actions America is an exceptional country. But, if America lived up to what she preached. I would be living in the greatest city in the world. America where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
